Welcome

Hopemade yarn co is a small batch independent yarn dyeing business specializing in hand dyed yarn and was founded in 2021 by Hope Vasseur.

A New Jersey native, I started dyeing in my kitchen for fun with my kids and am now dyeing yarn full time. 

Knitting, yarn dyeing, and the people that I have met as part of this community helped get me through a cancer diagnosis and treatment in 2022. Going through chemo and radiation was hard, and I don’t know how I would have managed it with out this wonderful community or having something to focus my attention on to keep my mind off the cancer.
